Isabella's First Haircut
The Easter Bunny Strikes Early. . .
Thanks Nonno, Nonnina, Mammy, And Zia for the box of goodies for Easter!!! The bag and basket were a big hit. Isabella carries them around like a purse. Thanks Grandma for the package, too! The clips will be great for her new hair-do! Tomorrow we will go to a farm in Natick for an Easter egg hunt and pictures with the Easter Bunny. More to come. . .

Isabella around the house
Here are some videos of Isabella around the house when we first moved in. Look how much fun she is having in the empty apartment!

Shopping at Harvard Square
Thanks to the Chen lab members, we found a great bookstore in Harvard Square this Sunday. Isabella got a gift certificate for her birthday, and she had a blast spending it! She got a fuzzy animal book, a new goodnight book, yummy/yucky (ie: soup is yummy, but soap is yucky), Gossie the Gosling, and more. She was in heaven with all the books and toys in the store! Harvard Square has so many nice shops and restaurants - we will definitely go back soon to explore more!
Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

Isabella's Own Room (and her first day of school!!!)
We've been working hard unpacking and getting settled. The one room that is mostly finished (aside from hanging a few things) is Isabella's. It looks so cute! She has her own crib now, no more Pack and Play. Cute "shabby chic" bedding, her own closet, a new bookshelf for all her books, and a play corner with bins upon bins of toys on a cute play rug. If only we could all have such a cool bedroom. There is also a daybed for guests or for mom and dad to sit with Isabella at night for a story and a bottle. PERFECT!!!
half, but she is already rocking the whole preschool thing!!! Arnaud took her in, she met the director and headed straight for class. She sat at the table for a snack, went outside to play (holding a ring on a rope so the class stays together - she didn't wander off!), had circle time to learn some French and have story time. She was already sitting on the cot waiting for naptime with the rest of the kids when it was time to go home. She is the youngest in the toddler room - but I think she wil do very well. I am going with her tomorrow for her second short day and she will probably start full time next week. What a big girl!!!
